About Horseshoe Lake Trail
The lake's curved, oxbow shape gives the scene its character, and the path follows the shoreline with views across the water. Along the way you'll pass a large beaver dam and catch glimpses of the Nenana River. A bench overlooks the lake early on, a good place to pause before continuing. Reach the trailhead by the Bike Path from the Denali Visitor Center, crossing the park road and railroad tracks along the way.
