About Chaos Crags Trail
The route climbs steeply past lava domes to a ridge with wide views over the volcanic landscape. A small lake sits in a crater below, but it is often dry by summer. Expect steep, rocky footing and strong winds near the ridge, and watch for rockfall if you descend toward the water.
