About Copper Ridge Trail
This high route follows a rare stretch of ridgeline inside the park, with a lookout at its crest. When the clouds clear, the views stretch across surrounding peaks and valleys, and wildflowers often line the way. Hikers can link up with the Chilliwack River Trail for a loop past old growth forest and backcountry camps at Egg Lake and Copper Lake. Overnight stays need a backcountry permit, which can be hard to get during busy periods.
