About Beehive Trail
The Beehive Trail is a short, scenic but exposed hike on the granite cliffs of Acadia National Park. It features steep rock scrambles and sections with iron rungs and ladder-like steps, offering panoramic coastal and island views. While it is a shorter and somewhat less-exposed alternative to the Precipice Trail, the cliff sections can be strenuous and may be intimidating for hikers uncomfortable with heights.
