About Laguna Meadows Trail
The trail starts from the Chisos Basin trailhead and climbs gradually through several switchbacks, opening to mountain views along the way. Higher up it levels out into a grassy meadow edged by forest, with backcountry campsites tucked along the route. The South Rim and Window trailheads are a short walk from the Basin, so the route fits well into a day in the Chisos Mountains.
