No Camping Here: Where to Stay Nearby
Cuyahoga Valley National Park does not offer camping within its boundaries. Backcountry camping is prohibited, and staying overnight in parking lots is not permitted either.

For a place to sleep inside the park, there are two lodging options.
The Stanford House is centrally located within the park and offers moderately priced rooms. The Inn at Brandywine Falls is a bed and breakfast with six renovated rooms, located near Brandywine Falls. Both put guests within the park itself.
Many hotel options are found in the towns along the park's eastern side. Hotels in the Stow-Akron area have the best reviews, and staying somewhere between Twinsburg and Stow cuts down on driving in and out of the park. From there, the top sights inside the park are within 15 minutes. Well-reviewed options include the Staybridge Suites Akron-Stow-Cuyahoga Falls and the Fairfield Inn and Suites by Marriott Akron Stow.
Camping is available outside the park. Cleveland Metroparks and Summit Metro Parks offer limited camping, and lists of state parks and private campgrounds are grouped by driving distance from the park.
The park is an urban one, sitting between Cleveland to the north and Akron to the south, so you may pass through neighborhoods on the way to a trailhead, and that is expected. Hotels and restaurants are plentiful nearby, and you will have cellular service wherever you are in the park. Anyone already in Akron or Cleveland can make it a day trip.
