About Heritage Trail
This accessible loop starts near the visitor center and runs mostly on a raised wooden walkway. It passes the site of the original Mammoth Cave Hotel, the Sunset Point overlook, and the Old Guide's Cemetery, tracing the people and activities behind the park's early history. Railings and benches line the route, and low ramps ease the start, so visitors of all mobility levels can enjoy it.
