About Marymere Falls Trail
The Marymere Falls Trail begins at the Storm King Ranger Station and winds through old-growth temperate rainforest, with moss-covered trees and large big-leaf maples that give the area a cathedral-like atmosphere typical of the Pacific Northwest. The short trail leads to an overlook of Barnes Creek and Marymere Falls. Note that the first half-mile is a hard-packed surface with uneven terrain; while the trail is popular with families and day hikers, portions have uneven footing and visitors should be prepared for that.
