About Ozette Loop

Winding through lush coastal rainforest and along the rugged shoreline, the Ozette Loop offers scenic Pacific Ocean views and tall seastacks. The area contains evidence of long Makah habitation, with artifacts from the Ozette area well documented rather than specifically documented petroglyphs along the trail. Visitors often see seals and migrating gray whales, and the route includes boardwalks plus designated beach and backcountry campsites for day hikes or multi-day trips (permits required).
