About Riprap Trail
The loop runs through Shenandoah Wilderness woods and requires several stream crossings. Chimney Rock and Calvary Rocks give wide looks at distant ridges and the land dropping away westward and northward. Shared stretches of the Appalachian Trail link the loop, and the Moormans River and Crimora Lake overlooks are a short walk away.
