About Glen Aulin - May Lake Trail
This combines two separate routes. Glen Aulin follows the Tuolumne River from the Tuolumne Meadows/Pacific Crest Trail corridor to the Glen Aulin area, passing river waterfalls (for example Waterwheel Falls) and scenic meadows. May Lake is a separate short trail north of Tioga Road that climbs to an alpine lake at the foot of Mt. Hoffmann; from May Lake an unofficial, unmarked spur involving boulder scrambling leads to the summit of Mt. Hoffmann for panoramic views of Yosemite's High Sierra.
