About Taylor Creek Trail
Taylor Creek Trail winds through a tight box canyon, guiding hikers toward the Double Arch Alcove, where erosion has sculpted striking openings in the Navajo sandstone. Near the canyon entrance, the route enters the Zion Wilderness and crosses Taylor Creek multiple times. Expect icy stretches in winter and wet feet during spring runoff. Along the way, the trail passes the Kanarraville Fold and two historic homestead cabins from the early 1930s before reaching the alcove.
