About Mossy Cave Trail
A short walk follows a stream along a canyon to a sheltered alcove, where moss thrives in warmer months and icicles form in winter. The water runs through an irrigation ditch that early settlers dug, and it feeds a small waterfall on the route. The walk is popular with families, and colorful rock walls and nearby hoodoos frame the route.
