About Pa-hay-okee Trail
A wooden boardwalk cuts through the sawgrass before climbing to a raised observation platform at the end of the path. From the top, the view stretches across the Everglades' open grassland, the River of Grass, toward the heart of the park. Bring insect repellent, since the grassy marsh can be buggy, and expect wide, open sky with little shade along the way.
