About Devil's Kitchen Trail
The route crosses Warner Valley meadows on boardwalks and footbridges, then climbs through forest to a rim above a gray, rock-filled hydrothermal basin. Steam rises from fumaroles and mud pots that boil in the chalky ground, and the trail also passes through a stretch of forest burned in a recent fire. Expect dirt tread with some low rises and seasonal stream crossings, and stay on the marked path near the hot ground.
