About Valley View Trail
Dense stands of saguaro, prickly pear and ironwood line this walk, one of the most cactus-rich stretches of the park's Tucson Mountain District. The path runs over level ground, so you can get close to the tall cacti without much climbing. Keep going to the far end for a broad view across the desert, and the route also connects to the Wild Dog Trail for longer hikes.
