About Lower Yosemite Fall Trail

This short, paved loop offers front‑row views of both Upper and Lower Yosemite Falls and leads to the footbridge near the base of the lower fall. The lower fall is deafening in spring and early summer and you can expect to get sprayed when standing near the bridge; it often diminishes or dries by late summer. The trail is easy and paved with interpretive exhibits along the route. The eastern portion of the loop is wheelchair-accessible (when not covered in ice or snow), and paved sections are generally stroller-friendly, but full accessibility can depend on seasonal conditions. This is a very popular, often crowded destination.
