About Big Trees Trail
This paved loop circles Round Meadow, with giant sequoias ringing the grass and a long boardwalk section along the far side. Colorful panels along the way explain sequoia ecology, and benches and outdoor exhibits line the route, giving plenty of room to stop and read. It starts at Giant Forest Museum, with the Sentinel Tree close by, so it makes a good first walk among the sequoias.
