About Rim Overlook Trail
Expect a steady climb with little shade from the valley floor to a rim with wide views over Fruita, Highway 24 and Scenic Drive. You can look right along the road and the Waterpocket Fold, with Castle Rock standing out among the geological features. The trailhead is shared with Hickman Bridge, so the natural bridge can be added at the start or end of the hike.
